Based on Digi’s 32-bit NET+ARM technology, the unique design of the ConnectCore Wi-9C combines ARM9 main processor performance, enterprise-class security, wired and wireless network capabilities, broad embedded platform support, and a seamless migration path to a fully integrated system-on-chip solution.
The ConnectCore Wi-9C significantly reduces product development cost and time-to-market with its pre-approved radio. Long-term product availability is ensured since it utilizes Digi’s own radio technology, which is not tied to the typically short, consumer-driven market life cycles of traditional radio chipsets.
The complete and easy-to-use Digi JumpStart Kits minimize overall product designs risks, whether it is the small footprint and efficiency of the royalty-free and out-of-the-box ThreadX-based NET+OS® platform, the feature-complete selection of high-level software components and applications of Microsoft® Windows Embedded CE, or Embedded Linux with its open software library.
