Model 950 is designed as a cost effective and versaile solution for most Knife Gate applications. The key design feature is the two lug single piece cast body which ensures optimum functional capabilities with lower body weight and cost. The design offers a choice of either cast or plate superstructure (yoke) which also permits interchangeability between manual and pneumatic actuators A cast body is more rugged and offers better leak tihgtness than a fabriicated or cast two-piece body; it also is superior to cast valves with stainless steel lining which are more susceptible to corrosive and erosive wear.
