Product Description

DSlab acquires analog signals from transducers, It digitally transmits the measure to a computer and shows wave form allowing analysis, data saving and printing.

Technical features:

DSlab system includes:
- Transducer: 
Transducers and sensors have analog outputs (80mV, 5V, 10V, 4-20mA, 0-20mA) proportional to the measured phenomena (forces, weights, displacements, pressures, liquid levels, temperatures, tilts, accelerations etc.).
DS Europe produces several types of transducers: load cells (forces and weights), pressure transducers, linear displacement transducers, liquid level measuring systems, servo inclinometers, accelerometers, rope traction control systems and tension meters for webs onto rolls.

- Data acquisition electronics:
DS Europe produces several types of acquisition electronics (AN401Plus, Pitagora and SAP; see DS Europe web site) that can digitize analog signals coming from transducers (80mV/V, 5V, 10V, 4-20mA, 0-20mA)for digitally retransmitting the measured values to a computer.
Digital electronics allows to acquire analog signals only on one input channel.
Electronics is to have a firmware version at lest V2.16.
High resolution: DS Europe electronics have high resolution because of sigma delta A/D coverter with 24bit max.
High sampling rate: up to 1920Hz max.
Digital transmission to computer: RS485 with DSEnet and 115000baud max.
It is available an RS485/RS232 converter to be applied onto the computer DB9 com port in case there is only an RS232 com port.
DS Europe electronics can also be connected to transducers and sensors not made by DS Europe if they have compatible analog signals for the electronics.
DS Europe transducers with built-in digital electronics and RS485 data transmission can be directly connected to the computer, without any digitizing electronics, If they have a V2.16 firmware version.

-DSlab software:
DS Europe provide the DSlab software that is to be installed into a computer (not included). 
DSlab can be easily installed because of Its automatic functions for searching of the connected electronics and setting of digital communication parameter. 
DSlab allows to show on computer screen a graph measure/time and to show the values of its points by using the mouse cursor on each single graph point.
Graph allow to show the acquired values in engineering units (Kg, Ton, daN, bar etc.) and to scale the graph axis. 
DSlab allows to graphically show the mean and peaks values.
Acquired values are saved onto the computer RAM memory.
It is possible to pring the graph and to save the acquired values onto the hard disk under text file format(txt.) or Excell (xls.)in order to allow to use additional software for analyzing them.
Use modes: 
Continuous Read: It allows to acquire values for an indefinite time at a 200Hz max. sampling rate.
One Shot Read: It allows to acquire values for 600mSec max. duration with a 1920Hz max. high sampling rate.

- Minimum system requirements: at least 10MB Hard Disk for DSlab software, 256MB RAM, CPU with 1GHz clock, video card with graphic memoriy, operatve systems: Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP home and professional.
