Habonim have also pioneered a range of bonnets to suit their ball valves to monitor any Fugitive Emissions from the stem area of the valve. This retrofittable bonnet offers a practical and cost effective alternative, while retaining customers' investments in existing Habonim valves. The double set of live loaded stem seals with leak-off ports between them, can be connected to an alarm or pressure monitoring device. Any changes detected between teh stem packing will mean a leak is present, giving maintennance a head start to prevent atmospheric leakages before they happen.
