Shoresite Tactical Workstation

Product Name: Shoresite Tactical Workstation

Product Description

DRS's Shoresite Tactical Workstation is a lower cost AN/UYQ-70 workstation derivative tactical display console emulator, utilizing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) technology and intended for shoresite applications. Operationally identical to the U.S. Navy's newest shipboard systems, this workstation meets the Navy's requirements for operator training and testing, range and surveillance operations, and software development, but at a significantly reduced cost.

AN/UYQ-70 systems functionality is maintained by maximizing the use of actual UYQ-70 system components. Significant cost savings are achieved by relaxing shipboard and battle hardening requirements. Additional cost savings are realized through sharing life-cycle costs of the UYQ-70 system with the fleet. Configurations of DRS's Shoresite Tactical Workstation have been modularly designed. The system is manufactured in basic ACDS and Aegis Baseline 3A+ configurations that can be augmented with a variety of functionality options to tailor the consoles for specific installation requirements.
