Repair and Overhaul

DRS Technologies Canada Company provides full life cycle repair and overhaul services for its extensive line of flight safety, shipboard communications, navaids and electro-optics products. Units or systems returned for repair are evaluated and repaired.
All repairs are carried out using the same facilities, test criteria and technicians used in production, thereby assuring that the same exacting quality standards, processes and procedures are maintained.

All repair work is fully warranted. A comprehensive record, and complete life cycle history is maintained for each unit. DRS Flight Safety and Communications retains inventories of critical parts to support repairs and to ensure a minimum turn-around time.

Throughout the product life cycle, we offer value-added mid-life upgrades and modifications to ensure economical, long-term and reliable product life and performance

Spares

DRS Flight Safety and Communications provides full product support services including spares. Spare parts are offered on an individual demand basis or in accordance with spares provisioning recommendations. Catalogue pricing and lead time information is available for many products. Spares upgrades are offered on existing products where technology or parts improvements have been made. DRS Flight Safety and Communications considers spares a vital part of a comprehensive logistics support capability. You may be assured of consistent quality and availability, knowing that your DRS product remains in service and is fully supportable at an economic cost throughout its life.

Logistics Services

DRS Flight Safety and Communications provides reliability and maintainability analyses, failure analyses and parts obsolescence investigations. Technical documentation services, operation and maintenance manuals, training and field services are available. As system, module level or component upgrades become available, DRS Flight Safety and Communications provides Engineering Change Proposals/Notices, Field Service Bulletins and support documentation to recommend and introduce changes or upgrades. We also provide operational training for first-, second- and third-line maintenance at our facilities or at our customer’s location, as required. Installation and commissioning support services are offered to our customers on a worldwide basis at competitive rates.
