This allows to acquire images within a fixed time intervall. The TOF PEEM is
especially useful with a pulsed excitation source, such as a synchrotron or a
pulsed laser. The time resolution today is about 360 ps, the corresponding
energy resolution is about 50 meV. The TOF PEEM is a unique product of Focus
GmbH, it includes the DLD manufactured by the company Surface Concept, a Spin
off of the University of Mainz.
