Alcatel-Lucent 8635 Instant Convergent Billing (ICB) Release 2.1 is a component of the IT Customer Care and Billing modules of the Alcatel-Lucent 8610 Instant Convergent Charging Suite. Pre-integrated with the Alcatel-Lucent Convergent Rating Engine, which also belongs to the Alcatel-Lucent 8610 Convergent Charging Suite, the Alcatel-Lucent 8635 ICB provides a complete end-to-end Alcatel-Lucent solution designed to help mobile service providers launch innovative and differentiated service offerings with one convergent system.

With its unified and convergent customer management, the Alcatel-Lucent 8635 ICB also simplifies the IT infrastructure while managing subscribers and credit control usages for pre-paid, controlled post-paid, contractual pre-paid, as well as pure post-paid accounts in real time.

Especially designed for the convergent billing market in emerging countries, the Alcatel-Lucent 8635 ICB reduces OEX up to 30 percent, by avoiding parallel runs and costly legacy post-paid billing maintenance fees.
