The AR 65 is a 65 mm mean radius 180 degrees hemispherical analyser with proven
ARUPS and ARXPS performance and reliability in laboratory and synchrotron
environments. An energy resolution of dE < 10 meV fwhm on Ar 3p is specified for
gas phase UPS. 8.5 meV Fermi edge resolution has been achieved in solid state
UPS with synchrotron light. The gridless 4-element lens features a uniform
magnification (x1) throughout the retard ratio range. The AR 65 is also suitable
for angular resolved Ion Scattering Spectroscopy (ISS).
