Product Description
The CUV-TLC-50F Temperature-regulated Cuvette Holder is a high-quality,
versatile sample chamber with a Peltier temperature controller calibrated
against a NIST-traceable thermometer. The device controls the temperature of the
holder from -55 ºC to +105 ºC and maintains a constant temperature to within +/-
0.02 ºC. The CUV-TLC-50F includes the cuvette holder and the external
temperature controller box. To run the thermoelectric cooler efficiently, we
offer a simple water pump and a water container.

"Z" Dimension
All of the cuvettes and cuvette holders offered by Ocean Optics have a "Z"
dimension of 15 mm.
System Configuration
The CUV-TLC provides four optical ports. Each port accommodates a CUV-TLC-CL-UV
-- an SMA 905 connector with an integrated collimating lens. These connectors
can be positioned at 180º for absorbance and transmission measurements or at 90º
for fluorescence and scattering measurements. The CUV-TLC-CL-UV couples the
cuvette holder to Ocean Optics Miniature Fiber Optic Spectrometers, such as the
USB2000-FLG for fluorescence, and light sources.
The CUV-TLC features a dry gas purge to rid the sample chamber of condensation
when operating at low temperatures; variable speed magnetic stirring; and
optical slits to modify illumination of the sample chamber. We also include
tubing for water and gas connections and a stir bar.
PC Adapter Package
An optional PC-based adapter package, the CUV-TLC-ADP, is available. This
package includes Windows compatible software that can be used to remotely start
a test sequence, operate the temperature controller and monitor experiments. A
serial interface cable and a .DLL library for inclusion in custom scripts is
also included in the CUV-TLC-ADP package.
