Technical Details
Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) is based on the IEEE 802.16 Wireless Metropolitan Area Network air interface standard. It supports non-Line-of-Sight (LOS) applications in licensed and unlicensed bands in the sub 11 GHz frequency range as well as applications in the licensed 10 to 66 GHz frequency range.
