Semi-Automatic Single Spindle Recutter
• Designed for implicity and durability for cutting paper tubes up to 12 long into any desired lengths with burr free ends
• Five minutes set-up times from one inside tube diameter to another. Tubes with different outside diameters will take only three minutes
• You will be able to set up batch runs for your cut tube lengths with a push of a button. A signal light will indicate when a batch is completed
• Handles any outside tube diameters from 1 1/2"OD to 8" OD
• Can be suited for larger tube diameters and lenghts
• Tube cuts done against hardened ring for burr-free cut
• Tubes slide over mandrel plugs spaced according to tube lengths
• Cutting wheel head can be manual or automatic
• Programmable console runs together with automatic tube advance
• 3/4" maximum wall thickness
Operation:
• Paper tube is fed onto the cutting mandrel from right to left of the operator's station. The tube is then fed toward the cutting wheel by a pre-selected digital motor control that feeds the tube to the desired lengths.
• The downward motion of the knife handle automatically starts the tube rotating while being cut and stops the rotation when the arm is raised. When in the raised position, a signal is sent telling the automatic feed to advance the tube to the next pre-selected cut.
• The previous cut tube will be pushed off the cutting mandrel as the next tube advances. If a longer tube length is required, a roller bed table is used for either a manual removal or, if desired, drop onto a parallel catch tray stand.
