Product Description

The Alcatel-Lucent ISAM Voice Package has been developed for the Alcatel-Lucent ISAM family, a future-safe, multiservice access platform for transforming operators' access networks. The ISAM Voice Package provides VoIP media gateway functionality to interconnect legacy POTS and ISDN customer premises terminals to NGN backbones. 

The ISAM Voice Package is ideal for incumbent local exchange carriers (ILECs) in ETSI regions who want to deal with the obsolescence issues of their current PSTN network by offering a competitive bundle of triple play services where voice is an emulation of the current PSTN TDM voice. Alternative service providers, especially those leasing the local loop from ILECs, can also profit from the multiservice approach of the ISAM Voice Package.
