ALSPA P320® Training Simulator

Product Name: ALSPA P320® Training Simulator

Product Description

By accurately reproducing the plant operation in normal and abnormal situations, without any risk to people or equipment, only the simulator allows all the necessary exercises to be performed to ensure practical and complete operator training without affecting the plant production and availability. Because of its flexibility of use, the simulator is also an engineering tool allowing trip analysis and the evaluation of new operational strategies, for the lifetime of the plant.
The operators being trained in all modes of operation acquire a greater competence in optimising plant productivity:

  • by the reduction of downtime due to operational errors, the reduction of the number of trips by the correct reaction to pre-alert situations,
  • the improvement of unit productivity by optimised operation for all load conditions,
  • and the reduction of maintenance costs by avoiding abnormal constraints on the equipment.

The simulator emulates the actual plant control room as faithfully as possible in order to recreate identical control conditions. It consists of a replica of the Centralog project control room functions connected to a powerful computer (instead of the unit network) which simulates both the process (knowledge models) and the control functions (customized by the Controcad engineering tool). The quality of the simulator derives from the quality of the models used: models must be modular, precise, operate in real time and be valid for a wide range of operating conditions. The following functions can be accessed via the user-friendly interface of the instructor station:
