A fully integrated solution for the that coordinates nationwide Processing and Distribution Center operations by supplying accurate and timely mail flow information.
The Integrated Data System Upgrade program serves as the gateway between all existing mail handling and processing systems and the various information systems that make up the U.S. Postal Service Information Platform.

System Overview

The Integrated Data System Upgrade is a geographically distributed information collection and management system that provides comprehensive data collection, integration and access for all mail processing equipment and material handling equipment within more than 300 Processing and Distribution Centers, Associate Offices, and potentially other mail processing facilities.

Integrated Data System gives the U.S. Postal Service a dynamic and completely configurable system to provide near real-time information about the flow of mail as it passes through numerous processing and distribution points from shipper to recipient.
