Microcontrollers
Silicon Laboratories’ 8051-based MCUs are ideally suited for 802.15.4 and ZigBee applications.  Combining high-precision analog peripherals, with a low current consumption, high-throughput (up to 100 MIPS) 8051 CPU and up to 128 kB of on-chip Flash memory, these devices provide the optimal platform for a wide range of wireless automation, industrial, medical and residential monitoring and control applications. Low cost, easy to use development kits are available for all of the MCUs to help speed system development.

ZigBee and 802.15.4 Development Kits
Silicon Laboratories also offers development kits that allow customers to focus on application development rather than hardware selection. These comprehensive kits include all of the hardware and software needed to immediately begin developing ZigBee or 802.15.4 network solutions.

2.4 GHz ZigBee Development Kit
This kit combines a high-performance C8051F121 MCU, an IEEE 802.15.4 compliant RF transceiver, the MAC firmware, the Helicomm ZigBee Protocol stack and the Silicon Laboratories Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
