Product Description
Aero L provides airline and government operators with global,
real-time, two-way data communications, principally to support air traffic
control and airline operations.
Aero L supports:
- Real-time, two-way data between 600 and 1,200 bps
- Interfaces with international X.25 and public switched telephone and data
networks
- ICAO-approved air traffic control and distress communications, including
automatic position reporting
- Acars/Aircom operational messaging.
An Aero L aircraft installation comprises an omni-directional
blade-type antenna, avionics and data terminal equipment.
