Product Description
Aero I brings multi-channel voice, fax and data at up to 4.8kbps to
corporate aircraft, military transports and regional airliners through smaller,
cheaper terminals.
Designed for short and medium-haul aircraft and certificated for air
traffic control and distress communications, Aero I supports:
- Voice communications in satellite spotbeams
- Packet-mode data communications at between 600bps and 4.8kbps in global
beams
- Distress voice communications - including short-code dialling to ATC
centres - in global beams
- Circuit-mode data for fax, messaging and e-mail in spotbeams
- Up to seven simultaneous channels per aircraft installation.
