Product Description
Inmarsat mini-C is a two-way store-and-forward data service offering
messaging, e-mail and position reporting.
It uses a compact, low-power, easy-to-install mobile unit comprising a
transceiver and Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) receiver all housed within
the unit's antenna. One single unit ensures reliable, close to real-time
communications from mobile to land, land to mobile, and mobile to mobile.
These products are typically used for remote monitoring and, in
combination with web-based tracking applications, fleet management. They are
found regularly within the oil and gas sector and on freight services across the
globe.
