Product Description
DDR SDRAM captures data at twice the clock frequency, creating high-speed,
low-power, high-density components. Micron’s line of DDR SDRAM products is
available in a variety of densities, speeds, and configurations. Our DDR
components are manufactured using our state-of-the-art process geometries.
Micron's DDR SDRAM supports a number of features, including
source-synchronous interface, which simplifies timing (especially at higher
speeds); an internal, pipelined 2n-prefetch architecture, which allows
two data accesses per clock cycle; and a quad-bank architecture, which allows
for reduction of row access overhead.
DDR is a mainstream memory used in all levels of desktop, notebook, and
server platforms. These platforms provide a range of speeds in high-density
applications; in the corporate, portable, and mid-range applications; and in
gaming systems and workstation segments.
