Today tickets for pop concerts, fair shows or sports events are usually equipped with up to nine different security features. Often the personnel at the admission can still not validate the authenticity of the tickets.
With access-print tickets and their imprinted electronic features other expensive security features are unnecessary. A cost-efficient card verifier can reliably identify and record authentic tickets – an acoustic or optic signal indicates their authenticity. Therefore the admission personnel can easily and securely check if the ticket is valid. There is no more costly cross-linking of access terminals as necessary with ordinary bar code readers.
