HIGH PERFORMANCE FANS
Airscrew Limited is a world leader in the design and manufacture of high performance fans, including vane-axial, centrifugal and mixed flow configurations. Airscrew Limited fans are supplied with a variety of drives including 400Hz, AC, 28V or 270V brushes or brushless DC or mechanical drive.
All fans are designed and certified in accordance with aircraft environmental specifications and incorporate sealed for life bearings, motor protection and health-monitoring options. The fans have single speed, two speed or variable speed and altitude variable options.
Utilising all variations of fan configuration and drive, Airscrew Limited can customise fans to suit any application. Vane-axial fans provide high airflow and medium pressure performance for cooling densely packed avionics bays, whilst centrifugal designs provide high pressure with minimum airflow.
Mixed flow fans combine the attributes of both axial and centrifugal fans, providing high airflow and high pressure. This performance, coupled with a non-stall and low noise characteristic makes mixed flow fans ideal for numerous aerospace applications.

HEATERS
Airscrew Limited heaters and fan-heaters are used extensively on aircraft applications, using modular heater technology to provide 100W to 7,000W output.
The heater technology permits low-weight, high performance solutions. Heater element/heat sink assemblies operate at safe temperatures with a low pressure drop. Air insulating features guarantee the outer skin is kept at a low temperature.

MOTORS AND GENERATORS
Airscrew Limited has a wide range of motors and generators, which are designed to optimise the power/mass ratio by utilising advanced materials. The motors are designed for 400Hz AC and 28V or 270V brushed or brushless DC supply voltages, and are widely recognised for their reliability and durability.
Airscrew Limited design and manufacture air and oil-cooled AC and DC generators, which are supplied in flight-critical emergency back up applications.
