The CSC-100 Clock Synchronization Comparator is a compact, handheld instrument that compares the clock signals from two different PCM sources, typicatlly a DS1. The visual display shows the frequency and phase differences of the signals. Bit slips are shown and the set will show symptoms of jitter and wander trouble. The test set counts, stores and displays frame slips. Indicators also show lack of PCM and low battery.
