It announced that the Toyota Motor Corporation fuel economy and output improved on the 12th, in comparison with until recently, developed the dynamic valve gear “valve matic” for the new engine which promotes CO2 reduction. In the former continual variable valve timing mechanism which changes the opening and closing timing of the engine inhalation valve continually, the mechanism which changes the valve lift quantity continually was combined anew.
 In order to adjust the air quantity which the valve matic adjusted so far at the opening and closing quantity of the throttle valve and flows, with the change of the lift quantity of the inhalation valve the mechanism was changed. Because of this, it controlled optimumly the lift quantity and opening and closing timing of the inhalation valve according to operational state, low improvement of fuel economy and power efficiency it succeeded in being compatible. In case of the 2.0L engine, you say that you can anticipate the fuel economy improvement and CO2 reduction of the 5~10% and the output improvement of 10% or more.
