An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Strategic Analyst for a leading and prestigious automotive company. This role will allow you to lead the development of all business strategies and supporting planning activities within the company.

The ideal candidate will have experience within the automotive sector and will have served time in either product planning, project management, business or engineering. This is a real opportunity to further develop your career within one of the most exciting car companies in the world.

Responsibilities:
-Lead x-functional teams (e.g. Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing) to drive delivery of key
business strategies ensuring that functional plans support the business requirements (e.g. Manufacturing
Strategy, sourcing strategy, brand strategy).
-Analysis and of the current and future competitor market place to support development of vehicle product
plan.
-Liaise with business wide functions to develop responses to legislative, quality, warranty and other issues
affecting Products and their competitiveness in the market place.
-Support the consolidation and prioritisation of strategic issues and market needs across the business
through analysis and reporting of external business environment trends.
-Development of outline work plans to identify work responsibilities required for project investigation studies.
-Support the resolution of key strategic issues at Senior Management and Board level.
-Conduct outline business case and strategic analysis for new product or technology proposals.
-Support the business wide Business Planning requirements with detailed product assumptions and cycle
plan information.
-Support other Strategy and Planning activities as required.

Requirements:
-Automotive Engineering experience, either OEM or supplier, ideally in a similar or project management role.
-Degree Level qualified or equivalent.
-Product Planning, Project Management, Business or Engineering background.
-Broad cross functional knowledge including product development, marketing and finance, prototype build,
manufacturing/production and service.

Salary:- Up to 32500 dependant on experience.
