Job Description:
You will be supervising a small team of electrical engineers in their Bristol
Office including on the job training of graduate engineers. You will be
responsible for long term development of M&E department under M&E technical
Director. Also responsible for checking electrical input on all projects within
the office. Working as a member of a number of multidisciplinary teams
throughout the UK offices on multiple small to medium size projects from
inception through to completion.
Project Details Qualifications:
Essential - HNC/HND or degree in electrical engineering Desirable - Driving
licence, PTS
Experience:
Essential - Experience in at least two of the following fields: Design of
electrical distribution systems, cabling, lighting design, motor starter panels,
electrical bulding services Desirable - Suitable experience, preferably with
experience of working on Network rail projects. Experience/working knowledge of
mechanical aspects of building services including lifts, heating, ventilation
etc.
Personal Qualities:
Enthusiastic, team player, willing to travel to sites around UK and to spend
some time working in other Hyder offices.

Essential Qualifications
*HND or degree in electrical engineering
*Chartered Engineer
*Good oral and written communication skills
Essential Experience
*Experience of working on Rail, Water Industry and Building Services projects.
*Detailed knowledge of MV and LV Distribution equipment and systems: standby
generation: water, sewerage and industrial pumping control systems: building
services: cabling and earthing.
*Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams on small projects.
