Principal Systems Engineer - Electronic Engineer

Located just north of Boston, MA we are a global manufacturing company. Our products are used across all industries including communications, pharmaceutical, military and homeland security. We are a pre-IPO, entrepreneurial organizations. Due to rapid growth, we are looking for a Principle Systems Engineer. You will be responsible for guiding a project from project launch through the phases of requirements definition, functional definition, physical design, and design validation which culminate in the ultimate fielding of the system under development.

- Managing and coordinating the activities of multiple engineering disciplines
- Balance individual functional capabilities within the context of the overall system
- Manage the triple constraint of cost, schedule, and technical risk while maintaining quality

What you need to have!

- 4+ years Systems Engineering for a electronics, optical, or semiconductor company
- Breadth and depth of knowledge in the areas of Algorithms, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical Enclosures, Optics, and Software
- Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) experience
- Working knowledge of system architect principles and practice
- Working knowledge of integration, verification, and validation (I,V&V) principles and practice
- Project reporting experience for both government and commercial contracts
- MS Degree in Systems Engineering
