An exciting opportunity is available for a Commissioning Engineer in Combat Systems based in Scotstoun, Glasgow for this large ship building Defence Company.

The successful applicant will be qualified or have equivalent relevant experience in weapon and/or electrical engineering, understand circuit and schematic diagrams and interpreting technical drawings. A sound knowledge of ship weapon systems is essential.

Conduct compartment grading and Weapon System Inspections, presenting these systems to Acceptance authorities for audit, and carry out selected testing activities of partial Ship Weapon systems and equipment whilst maintaining accurate records and results. Provide assistance and guidance to Production personnel during installation of weapon systems.
