Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs electrical construction engineering work in a field environment. Responsibilities include: supporting field procurement and commissioning; reviewing/interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and other design documents; developing construction specifications, scope of work and estimates.
Prepares construction work packages, performs field walk down/inspections to review work for conformance with design drawings and applicable codes and standards. Prepares punch list, red-line drawings to show as-built conditions. Performs engineering activities to develop/complete design. Prepares/answers requests for information, field change requests and field work order requests.
Assists with proposal preparation, cost estimation, etc. Able to proactively identify potential problems in the field, develop alternatives and arrive at optimum solution to mitigate problems. Prepares presentations and makes presentations to management/clients. Work with construction QC to resolve any outstanding issues and recommend best practices. Reports to the project engineer.

Qualifications:
Must understand project design basis and contractual requirements.
Must have experience in supporting construction without much supervision; while interfacing with design engineering, field construction supervision and subcontractors. Able to mentor less experienced engineers and perform training as required for local and junior engineering personnel.
Bachelors degree.
11-15 years of experience.
