Job Description
Due to a large and demanding project, our well established, reputable client is seeking an experienced structural engineer to work as a confident project leader.

Our client is currently working on a range of mixed use, residential and retail projects. As part of the East London Development for 2012, this high profile project will be in the spotlight in the coming months and years.

This important and influential role requires:
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to think on your feet and respond to design issues as they arise
- Motivation of staff at all levels
- The ability to work to tight deadlines
- The ability to effectively liaise between architects, the client and site staff.

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified (or equivalent) and hold chartered status of an appropriate professional body. Experience leading similar projects would be preferential, but applicants who show evidence of strong design skills, problem solving, communication and versatility will be considered.
