Description
We are currently seeking a Product/Tool Designer for our Baraboo, WI. injection and blow molding operation We would prefer the qualified candidate to be a team player and possess a 2 or 4 year Mechanical Design and/or Engineering degree. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating layouts, CAD models, drawings, specifications, creating bills of materials, and supporting tool design and build. Duties and Responsibilities:
* Create CAD Solid Models and product drawings with SolidWorks and/or
Unigraphics * Possess the understanding of injection molding, blow molding and
associated tooling * Support the efforts of Product Ideation and product concept
designs. Will also work with Product Engineering to do Release for Tooling part
designs. * Assist the product development process and brainstorm solutions for
difficult production situations. * Model EDM Electrodes to support mold
construction activities * Involvement with building and fabricating prototypes.
