Individual will lead new product development projects from concept to
manufacturing.
Requirements
BSME or MS degree with 6-15 years experience in high technology products,
consumer products or military products. Candidate should be proficient at solid
modeling, having a minimum of five years experience (IDEAS preferred), designing
machined and/or molded plastic components. Professional experience should
include the integration of electronic subsystems and components working
collaboratively with an electrical engineering counterpart. Knowledge of Opto-Mechanical
systems, Infrared systems, materials and finishes, adhesives, design for
manufacture, finite element modeling, and project leadership skills are all
highly desirable.
