Sebesta Blomberg is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Electrical Power Systems
Engineer for our Roseville, MN office. This individual would have lead
electrical engineer responsibility for multidisciplinary projects in the
Utility Infrastructure Division of the Roseville office. These projects would
include power generation facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, central
chilled water facilities, industrial process facilities, commercial buildings,
and institutional facilities such as hospitals and college campuses.
Typical responsibilities will include development of economical solutions to
clients’ system needs, engineering economic analysis, presentations to clients
and design teams, directing, coaching, and mentoring junior electrical
engineers, performing electrical engineering studies, electrical distribution
system design, preparation of specifications, preparation of contractor bid
documents, and preparation of construction documents. This position will also
support field-testing, start-up, and commissioning of electrical facilities.
Design experience with medium and low voltage industrial and commercial power
distribution systems.
Design or operations experience in power generation facilities.
Design or operations experience in wastewater treatment
facilities.
Experience in meeting with clients and delivering technical presentations to
non-technical audience.
Requirements
BSEE from ABET accredited institution
At least 6 years of applicable design experience.
Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in MN
within 6 months.
Ability to travel out of town on assignments of more than two days of
duration.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work well in a team environment
Effective written and verbal communications
Demonstrated ability to carry out responsibilities of a project lead
electrical engineer
