Qualified candidates for this position will be responsible for working
as part of a team on power plant design. Duties would include the physical
design and arrangement of generation equipment, control/protection schematic
development, power wiring and circuit routing, equipment selection, among
others. Types of projects include owner's engineering feasibility studies,
retrofit projects and conceptual deign of power facilities.
Typical candidates will have a working knowledge of electrical equipment
selection, sizing and schematic development, power plan design and
specification preparation. Successful candidates will have excellent written
and verbal communication skills, ability to work in a team environment and be
willing to travel.
