Location: US-MA-Woburn

Currently we need a full-time Software Engineer to develop applications for both portable and benchtop products.

Primary Functions:

• Responsible for the design and development of software for new products as well as enhancements to existing products.
• Work independently on specific software projects to meet schedules.
• Coordinate with hardware personnel the integration of hardware and software.
• Independently implement and validate significant and complex software on a project.
• Major contributor to the software documentation developed during the software development process.

Qualifications/Skills required

• 5-10 years experience in software design related field. Must have experience in all phases of the software development process
• Must be capable of independently defining software requirements, producing a high-level and detailed design from those requirements and implementing and testing the associated software
• Experience in programming C++, Visual Studio required. Experience with Windows CE is preferable
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.
• BS in computer science, applied math, electrical engineering or a technical equivalent
• Experience with MFC, multithreading
• Database experience (with ODBC or ADO)
