Location: US-GA-Lawrenceville

Write and perform system integration test suites, Acceptance Test plans for digital cable settops mainly focusing on international customers. Work with third party vendors to perform system integration. Maintain and follow up for defects logged against all system components. Work with customers to perform System Acceptance Testing and troubleshooting. Willing to work to meet highly aggressive schedules and dynamic test environments.

Willing to work unsupervised and be able to represent the company in a professional manner and develop strategic relationships with the customer.

The individual must be willing to adjust schedule to allow international teleconference meetings and be willing to travel internationally with a short notice for 1 - (up to) 6 weeks at a time.

Years of Industry Experience Required: 8+ years

Minimum Required Education: BSEE/BSCS, or equivalent technical degree

Skills Required / Minimum years of Experience:
8+ years experience in quality assurance or integration testing
5+ years experience with TCP/IP protocols, and digital cable TV systems
3+ years experience with MPEG analyzers, stream recorders/players

Preferred Experience / Years:
C/C++ programming experience, Unix/Linux/Solaris system administration, ability to write/execute simple scripts, testing with Digital video recorders (strongly preferred), should be familiar with cable TV headend equipment, understanding of DVB standards, ability to parse and understand DVB tables, and understanding of MPEG standards/5 years.
