Software House a division of Tyco Safety Products is currently searching for
an Associate Engineer to be located in Lexington, Massachusetts.
Job Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for lab testing, trouble shooting, design
support and component engineering for the development of hardware to be used
in the physical access control industry. You will work closely with F/W, CAD,
mechanical, technicians, quality and tech support.
Sustaining engineering.
Component engineering.
Lab testing.
Troubleshooting and repairs.
Position Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2 years experience in hardware research and development lab.
Experience with lab testing, troubleshooting, design support.
Experience in component engineering to support the development of new
hardware.
Experience in OrCad PC schematic capture
Strong lab skills and comfortable with Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope, and
competent in assembly tools and techniques.
Self motivated in the support for the development of the NextGen H/W.
Ability to take personal ownership of your tasks and have a willingness to
be hands on in the development process.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
