Our Boston area Westford, Massachusetts office has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer with an environmental consulting background.

Please Note: Applicants must have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in ENGINEERING to be considered.

Responsibilities and Duties:

-Provides senior direction to remedial feasibility testing oversight, scope development, implementation, and evaluation
-Reviews and approves engineering design, documents, and deliverables
-Reviews and/or prepares remedial system designs, reports, permits, bid specifications, work scopes and cost estimates
-Manages the professional development and performance of staff engineers and technicians
-Provides technical training and coaches team members regarding remediation activities, engineering standardization, and technical report preparation
-May perform minimal fieldwork for bid walks, job kick-offs, field training, and system install/ troubleshooting activities
-Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (Environmental, Civil or Mechanical)

6+ years of related experience. Note: A relevant Master's degree reduces the experience requirement by 1 year.

Must be knowledgeable in environmental remediation testing and technologies: pilot testing, SVE/AS, GW P&T, knowledge of innovative technologies a plus

Working knowledge of Massachusetts state environmental regulations

Excellent technical writing skills, communication, organizational, supervision, and analytical skills are required

PE (Professional Engineer) Certification is highly-desired

Alcohol/Drug screening and a background check are required
