  • Responsibilities:
    The Ultrasound Systems Engineer has design responsibility to deliver a product satisfying the user needs and intended use of the product. This broad responsibility may include: design and development of features to meet user needs, product quality, product reliability. Activities may include product requirement development and traceability, architecture/system design and analysis, FMEA, developing/executing System Verification and Validation test procedures, and providing support to manufacturing and field personnel.

    Duties include (but are not limited to):
  • Providing domain expertise to serve as one of the integrators between the hardware, software and the clinical functions to deliver a product which satisfies the user needs and intended uses.
  • Working across functions and team boundaries to perform the research and development necessary to support the current generation of products
  • Working with clinical customers, Marketing and field personnel to understand and then refine user requirements to a level which can then be understood by the various engineering teams
  • Developing methods to quantify subsystem interactions and their effects on user needs such as image quality Signature:

     

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or closely related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in Ultrasound (U/S) engineering
  • Proficient in the use of software tools for analysis and simulation (MATLAB, etc)
  • Demonstrated ability to pursue tasks to completion

    U.S. (Country) Specific Qualifications:
    1. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time
    2. Must be willing to work in one of the metro Milwaukee, Wisconsin facilities full-time

    5. Must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process

    1.Masters degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or other closely related fields
