Responsibilities:
The Ultrasound Systems Engineer has design responsibility to deliver a product
satisfying the user needs and intended use of the product. This broad
responsibility may include: design and development of features to meet user
needs, product quality, product reliability. Activities may include product
requirement development and traceability, architecture/system design and
analysis, FMEA, developing/executing System Verification and Validation test
procedures, and providing support to manufacturing and field personnel.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Providing domain expertise to serve as one of the integrators between the
hardware, software and the clinical functions to deliver a product which
satisfies the user needs and intended uses.
Working across functions and team boundaries to perform the research and
development necessary to support the current generation of products
Working with clinical customers, Marketing and field personnel to
understand and then refine user requirements to a level which can then be
understood by the various engineering teams
Developing methods to quantify subsystem interactions and their effects on
user needs such as image quality Signature:
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering,
Physics, Chemistry or closely related discipline
Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in Ultrasound (U/S) engineering
Proficient in the use of software tools for analysis and simulation (MATLAB,
etc)
Demonstrated ability to pursue tasks to completion
U.S. (Country) Specific Qualifications:
1. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time
2. Must be willing to work in one of the metro Milwaukee, Wisconsin facilities
full-time

5. Must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process
