Manage various eyewear commodities for Oakley Suppliers in the area of Quality
Assurance and Certification
Troubleshoot analyses and apply quality tools to resolve problems and ensure
incoming products meet specified requirements
Work with Team and Suppliers to ensure all necessary QA steps and
documentation are in place prior to production release
Develop and implement 'New Product' Quality Program
Conduct quality systems audits, process and product audits, and drive close
loop corrective action
Define and monitor supplier quality problems and coordinate timely resolutions
Drive continuous quality process improvements
Travel is required, primarily to Asia
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Engineering degree preferred with 5 years experience in Technical Supplier
Quality Engineering/ Quality Assurance position
Technical understanding and hands on experience in the plastics industry with
a position related to Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing
Working knowledge of Quality Systems, Quality Process Controls, Material
Performance testing and has a solid understanding of Advance Quality Planning
(e.g. AIAG PPAP's)
Must be self-motivated, highly driven, organized, result oriented and a team
player
PLUS FACTORS:
ASQ CQE/CQM/CQA
Experience and solid understanding of Quality Sciences, TQM, Six Sigma,
Statistical Techniques and DOE
Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project and Power Point
Solid communication skills, written & verbal
