Our client, a developer of electro-mechanical vehicle controls, is looking for
a Principal Hardware Engineer to join their growing team in Southeast
Michigan. In this position, you’ll be the backbone of their hardware
development. You’ll take the lead in projects through the entire life cycle,
including design, simulation, schematics, documentation, and overseeing the
PCB design. You’ll be the team’s point of contact to vendors and other groups
in the company. Another aspect of the job will be taking on the role of
establishing a component strategy for the company, which will include
benchmarking of microcontrollers.

Requirements
• BSEE and 15+ years of experience in automotive/heavy vehicle hardware
design.
• You must have skilled in microcontroller-based hardware development.
• It’s also important that you can take projects through the entire life
cycle, including documentation.
• Any sensor design or BLDC/motor controls experience would be a plus.
• Excellent communication skills are a must.
