Client just awarded $350 million dollar contract with more on the way - will
be doubling and tripling production. Design and develop Electrical Control
Systems (AC/DC) for maintenance equipment. Create electrical schematics,
wiring charts, bills of materials and interconnect drawings using Electrical
CAD Software (DDSC and E3 preferable) Coordinate design solutions with vendors
for fit and function Provide support during manufacturing of equipment Travel
up to 30% - to test, commission and troubleshoot machine functions. Team
Player Attitude required to be part of a multi-functional Project Team
Comments:
Working with Eng Mgr - get immediate response. He grew up on a farm...likes to
tinker with cars or snow mobiles other machinery...love to find similar
personality. Need to remember these are large capital equipt. involving steel
welding, fitting, motors, engines !
Requirements
BS Electrical Engineering capable of designing and troubleshooting electrical
circuits - looking for an electrical engineer and not an electronics engineer.
Most of the work is with DC circuits, but there are some machines with an AC
component. Need a detail-oriented person, but someone who can see the big
picture and understand the thing that he/she is trying to control.
