Position: Electrical Engineer
Position Location:
Lanham, MD
Position Description:
Government Services IPT has an immediate opportunity to join and help build
the companys design engineering team. The job offers diverse project
opportunities as well as opportunities for advancement. General
responsibilities may include:
Designing high profile building electrical systems.
Evaluating and quantifying existing facilities systems.
Developing project cost estimates and schedules, and resolving technical
issues.
Exceeding client project performance requirements on schedule and under
budget.
Growing and maintaining new and existing client relationships.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Masters preferred.
Professional Engineer License in Electrical Engineering preferred.
US citizenship required.
Clearance: Present or the ability to obtain preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years.
Proficiency in MS Office products, MS Project, MS Access and AutoCAD design.
Cost estimating and life cycle analysis tools similar to PACES, Econpack and
PC-Cost - a plus.
Experience in design of electrical building systems.
Specific experience using system calculation software such as: ASDOP,
CAPTOR, PICAAPS, ETAP Power station, etc.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent writing skills.
Ability to travel.
Salary and Benefits:
Government Services IPT offers a full benefit package, which includes medical,
