Great opportunity with a well established firm located in Houston, TX, for a Civil / Environmental Engineer to participate in a wide variety of engineering assignments, including wind energy, environmental remediation, fueling systems, water supply, wastewater, and landfills. The work will involve preparing work plans and proposals, performing calculations and engineering evaluations, interpreting data, presenting data, and preparing conceptual designs and detailed construction plans and specifications. The position will also entail performing environmental engineering such as SPCC Plans, SW PPP Plans, and Remedial Action Plans. To be considered you need 2 or more years related civil and environmental engineering experience and a minimum of a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

Candidate should possess solid technical skills over a broad range of civil and environmental engineering and preferably have experience in civil engineering software such as hydrology, hydraulics, elementary structural design, and site work. Excellent communication and writing skills are a must as you will interact with clients, vendors and subcontractors as well as other employees in both management and subcontractor roles. You must be willing to accept occasional short and long term field assignments. Relocation assistance will be considered for eligible candidates.
