Beck manufactures the most highly regarded electric actuators for industrial

We are presently seeking an Application Engineer responsible for inside sales
and technical product support. Job responsibilities include: providing
technical product and application expertise along with inside sales support to
customers. Support field sales engineering efforts and field troubleshooting,
startup and training assistance. Handle special marketing projects to support
the website, sales literature, instructions, new product development, and new
market development.
Activities include developing and maintaining Beck product knowledge and
application expertise. Troubleshooting field problems over the phone, or at
customer sites when necessary. Handling incoming phone, email and fax requests
for product selection assistance and quotations along with reviewing
quotations and order folders to ensure accuracy and resolve problems.
Occasional travel to customer facilities for application assistance or to
complete installations.
Requirements
Engineering or engineering technology degree, BSME or BSEE preferred along
with 5 to 10 years industrial experience in an electro-mechanical role is
desired.
Additional skills necessary are:
• Electro-mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Industrial instrumentation and process control experience.
• Knowledge of process industries including electric utilities, steel,
aluminum, cement, water/wastewater and pulp & paper is very desirable.
