Weston Solutions, Inc. (WESTON®), a leading infrastructure redevelopment
services firm, has an exceptional opportunity in our West Chester office for
an Electrical Engineer.
The position will involve project-level responsibilities for the design of
electrical distribution systems, control ladder diagrams/schematics, lighting,
grounding systems, emergency power systems, and instrumentation and PLC-based
control systems.
The individual will produce engineering calculations, drawings, and
specifications for the electrical and control systems so they can be bid and
built by an electrical contractor.
In addition, the position will require working with WESTON’s process and
mechanical engineers to produce process and instrument control diagrams
(P&ID). These drawings will reflect all process equipment and the manner in
which the process will be controlled.
Following the development of this diagram, the electrical engineer will select
and specify the instruments required.
Position will require client interaction and the ability to communicate well
and work in a project team with other engineering disciplines. Familiarity
with CADD is helpful.

Requirements
Bachelors degree Electrical Engineering (power distribution and controls) with
5-15 years experience is required.
EIT/PE is preferred.
Up to 25% travel.
Ability to obtain Top Secret security clear is required. Applicants selected
will be subject to a U.S. government security investigation and must meet
eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Experience in wastewater and process treatment facilities is desirable.
Experience in arc fault analysis is a plus. Familiarity with the National
Electrical Code is required.
Construction, start-up, and O&M experience is desirable.
Technical writing skills are highly desirable.
