Department Description: Applied Technology is a
prototyping center within Government and Commercial Markets. We create
proof-of-concept and low-volume specialty products for government and private
industry using such technologies as WiMax, Tetra, GPRS, UMTS, and Linux. Our

Responsibilities/Expectations: Individual will be responsible for the
design of audio, power supply, power control, and ESD protection circuits for
transceivers. The individual will work as part of a multidisciplinary team
responsible for developing advanced wireless communications products. Typical
assignments include design, modeling, and implementation. The candidate must be
a results-oriented problem-solver.^^
Knowledge Skills: - Detailed understanding of analog electronics
- Strong background in general electronics
- 1-5 years of design experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as
required by government contract.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
4+ years of engineering experience
Experience with analog electronics
Experience with one or more of the following: power control, tranceivers,
batteries, power supplies, audio
