Challenging position with a dynamic company has an immediate opening for a
Plant Engineer. The facility operates 24/7 and employs approximately 550
employees. Excellent medical/dental/vision with immediate coverage with timely

The primary responsibilities are:
Reliable delivery of utilities, engineering support, and compliance with
various government agencies
Oversee and provide technical expertise for all aspects of utility purchasing
and scheduling
Act as primary liaison with BMI for power distribution, water distribution,
and billing justification
Act as primary liaison with the Colorado River Commission, City of Henderson,
public utilities, and Clark County with respect to zoning, easements, power
contracts, land development and related matters
Act as primary liaison with local and state officials, neighboring facilities,
regarding facility operations and permitting
Act as a resource to Plant Manager, Engineering Manager, and
Environmental/Safety Manager related to project engineering, capital
estimating, special projects, and regulatory compliance
Represent the company as a licensed engineer on all necessary construction
related activities
Education: B. S. degree, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
Knowledge & Skills: Experience in power and water purchasing, zoning and
easements, working knowledge of OSHA and PSM compliance; Professional Engineer
in Nevada or capable of obtaining license within one year of reporting to
position; possess a diversified background with strong technical, business,
and managerial skills; intermediate or advanced knowledge of PC functions and
MicroSoft Office; able to work in an industrial plant environment located in
the desert where summer temperatures are triple digit.
Experience: Min. of 10 years of project management experience in an
industrial manufacturing environment with increased responsibility
Education: B. S. degree, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
