Description
Responsibility for administration, analysis, troubleshooting, design, and overall management of telecommunications systems and circuits in a growing multi-segment international business. The incumbent will share rotating after hours and weekend on-call responsibility. Extensive interaction with colleagues within and beyond the I/T area will be required to develop and validate practical and effective business technology solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 Financial proficiency to perform basic traffic analysis, return on investment
calculations, and invoice administration.
2 Actively maintain up to date technical knowledge base through self study and
hands on learning.
3 Plan and execute telecommunications systems programming to complete moves,
adds, and changes at the Corporate Business Center and remote locations.
4 Monitor systems activity and propose measures for management approval to
ensure required availability and performance levels.
5 Ongoing process and technology support accountability for one of Wisconsin’s
largest call center operations will include the implementation and support of
Quality Monitoring and Workforce Management tools.
6 Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network outages, and provide second level
on call support.
7 Project management of technology implementations to ensure timely completion
within established financial parameters.
8 Fulfill Subject Matter Expert role as part of cross functional I/T development
teams.
9 Develop creative value solutions to support the organization’s growth and
profitability goals
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer
Science, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work
experience.
2. Typically has 3 to 5 years of IT and/or Telecommunications work experience,
with at least 1 year of hands on technical experience and 2 years managing
projects and/or project portfolios.
3. At least two years experience in a multiple location environment is
preferable.
4. Avaya or other certification is desirable, but not required. Optimal
candidates will have system administrator experience with the Avaya voice
platform, advanced voice processing technologies, call center systems, and
Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM).
5. Experience managing international telecommunications services vendors, U.S.
Local Exchange Carriers (LECs), and Interexchange Carriers (IXCs) is higly
