Global leader in developing cutting edge computer applications and solutions is
seeking talented Development Engineers to work on cutting edge Voice
Applications.
The Voice Applications Engineer will be working in developing consumer based
applications, utilizing TEXT, VOICE, MAPS<WAP.
The VoiceXML engineer will be responsible for the development of Enterprise
Applications. The candidate will write and maintain code in XML and JavaScript,
will use his/her UNIX background to manage a complex code tree in cvs with
multiple releases. The candidate will leverage his/her internet expertise to
validate the proper functioning, integration, and deployment of the application.
The candidate will interact with other technical teams working on the back-end
component of the project, and will interact with the internal design teams to
understand the requirements for new features, and with the QA team to provide
input into the testing process and methodology.
Key Skills: XML, PERL, WEB CODING
Requirements:
3-5 years of software development experience in a UNIX environment
Extensive programming experience in, HTML, JavaScript, and solid
understanding of Voice Applications. Experience with Perl is required.
Good understanding of web protocols, particularly of TCP/IP, HTTP, and
HTTPS.
Good understanding of the Software development and release process.
Experience working on a large scale software project with multiple releases.
Experience building server side web applications a plus.
Resourceful. Aware of industry trends. Understand who and when to engage in
problem solving
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
